Quick question. Can you use Skype video on the Windpad Enjoy 7?

I want to buy an affordable tablet pc for my wife to use Skype Video calling. I understand that only certain tablets support Skype Video. There is a new version of Skype Video apparently that came out in December, but does it work with this tablet pc?

Yes you can, skype works well on the tablet.

Been looking around for a cheap tablet. Purchased the Sansui Life Pad - R 1999 from Incredible and returned it after 1 day. Biggest piece of crap ever (Resistive Screen, needs stylus, Keyboard not accurate, No Android Market, couldn't install skype etc etc)

Do you know how accurate the screen on the Windpad is ? And can you install Skype ? That's the 2 things I'm most concerned about

The screen runs at 800x480 resolution, the PPI(pixels per inch) is a little low @ 160, but it's not the end of the world, especially if you look at the price. If you root the device, you can increase the resolution with an app. I use the tablet mostly for reading and browsing the net, and it works fine for me

I am battling to find help for this tablet. I want to upgrade to 3.2 Honeycomb. Is there anyone that can help me accomplish this? Running 2.3.1 Gingerbread.

Have you tried ARCUS-THUNDER? We've built the ROM on Win7 64bit... follow the procedures on it's thread, you need to put the tablet into flashmode, by holding volume + while pressing the reset pinhole on the back, you don't need to install adb drivers. It might also have been a bad download of the firmware, this happens sometimes. Hope this works for you.

Hi all back after a while.

There is a new msi tab the msi enjoy 7/10 inch plus running icecream sandwich 1ghz processor and 1 gig ram priced at just under R1600 for the 7 inch as the first one was good for the price can imagine that this one will be better.
