Source: 9to5GoogleFollowing several announced acquisitions this week that included Meebo and certain assets and technology from KikScore, Google's Engineering Director Alen Warren just announced on the Official Google Blog that the company acquired productivity and office app maker QuickOffice.
The Apple vs Google saga is in full force this month it seems. Apple is ditching Google Maps in iOS for their own 3D maps, therefore, later today Google is announcing their next generation mapping ahead of Apple; which will most likely also be 3D.
Android 4.1, iOS6....
