Does it boot into the OS before it reboots or does it loop at the beginning?
My Motorola Milestone randomly went into a boot loop when I put it on. I have never rooted it or tried rooting it, how do I get it working again? Please help. Thanks.

Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-7100 - Rooted CWM - PhoeiniX ROM - XXDLK7 - JB 4.1.2 - RedPill Kernel
HTC Desire - Rooted with Touch EXT4 - ParanoidAndroid - JB 4.1.2
Asus Transformer TF101 - Rooted with Clockwork Recovery - CyanogenMod - JB 4.1.2
It goes past the M logo then when the flashing Android logo appears it just keeps looping the Android logo.
And it's still stock? Did you install anything recently?

Might be time to hard reset it. From a Google search I found this (don't have a Milestone so use at own risk). Obviously you will loose all your apps and data.
The hard reset in Motorola Milestone Step by Step
1. Turns off the device, just take out the battery and puts them on again.
2. Pressing the camera button and hold it pressed while you turn on the device. Hold the camera button pressed for so long, until the display shows the Motorola logo appears. Then the power button let go and hold the camera key pressed continue until you see a triangle with exclamation point.
3. Now the camera and presses the volume up button at the same time to bring up a menu. (Might need a few attempts)
4. With the volume button you now select "Wipe all user data" and confirmed it with the OK button
5. Then you confirm the security prompt again with the OK button
6. The reset goes through and you must confirm the restart after

Good find Toby. Losing all data is better than loosing the phone completely. Luckily, if you Google account is set up right, it will auto download all your apps and contacts as soon as you log in with your Gmail account! Gotta love goolge for that!!!

Thanks guys. It is completely stock. I installed a signal booster because I was getting poor signal with a new sim I got, eventually I put my old sim back but when I turned the phone on it went into bootloop. I'm trying to avoid a reset because I have many important unbacked up contacts.
