    Milestone Apps

Hi, I'm a new user here. Just thought I'd start a thread on which Android apps our Milestone users use.

Personally I use Opera Mini 5, Compass (by Snaptic), BatteryLife (by CurveFish), Data Counter Widget (by Roy Solberg), Iridium Flares, Linda File Manager, and Shazam. But the two I use the most are LauncherPro (by Federico Carnales) and Cubed Music Player. Launcher Pro is the best Home Scree replacement app I've ever seen, and you can get it here http://www.launcherpro.com/ or from the Market. Cubed Music Player (or ³ like the Android Market calls it, is a unique music player that displays your albums on a controlable 3D cube. Just trust me and try this, its awesome. Search the Market for "cubed music player" and for more info check here http://abrantix.org/3.php

So, what do you guys use?

    Re: Milestone Apps

Its great! I dont really like the physical keyboard but I barely use it, and the phone is thin enough to ignore it. The phone is fast and I can do everything I want on it. The only thing is some of my friends tell me that I sound a little soft over it, but others tell me I sound fine. Not my problem I guess

Otherwise ya, its an awesome device. I was originally going to go for the HTC Legend but the Milestone was cheaper and I like the bigger screen. A few months ago I wouldn't have been caught dead with a Motorola, but with Android, everything has changed. I work in a cell phone shop BTW so I have had experience with all kinds of phones (since the beginning of TIME!)

Ha ha. Well I work at a vodacom store. So... can't play with the deals too much. And Android phones are pretty expensive compared to online.

Currently, I'm using WhatsApp (A MUST!), Winamp, Twitter client, ACV to read comics in .cbr format, Announcify to tell me who my notifications are coming from, including emails (Previous Symbian user, couldn't live with out it), ColourNote to jot stuff down, Engadget app, Flashlight, Gmote to control my PC and QR Droid for scanning codes.

Yeah.... I've moved on from a few of my original apps. I now use Go Launcher as my home replacement app. And My Data Manager is an awesome new one I've found, to keep track of my data usage. Its pretty too

Google Docs, Tweetdeck, XDA App, and a few other stargazing apps have found their way onto my phone too.
