I just got the GT540 from Cell C for only R1550 and it comes with NDrive free for life (SA maps seem to be pre loaded), I have to say, from the VF845 to this is unbeliveable... It is an amazing phone

I'm very impressed with the phone. Got it free on MTN topup 100 contract for 119pm which I think is great value!!
I already managed to brick it in the first week of having it. Luckily booting up into emergency mode allowed me to fix it again. Just struggling to root it again now because the new rom is 2.2.1 and z4root can't root it.
