    keyboard apps

A worthwhile replacement is "thumb keyboard 4" I find it much easier to use than the stock honeycomb one when holding the tab in both hands.

    Also look at MultiLing
It allows for several options and it has a bar with word suggestions in a variety of languages, just download the extra dictionaries. It can also split the keyboard to make the thumd working easier if thats your thing.
Also installed on my phone, get use to it very very quickly.
