Hello like you can see I'm new here I'm upgrading soon and have a few questions about the Wildfire...

1.Does it lag (Is the phone slow)
2.Is the screen really as bad as people say
3.Is it save to mod it to Gingerbread
4.Do I need a GMail account?

1. Yes. Then you press the screen again and then it does both things. Very irritating if you are used to a quicker phone.
2. No, just small. And a very few apps don't work lekker in that the input line is hidden, notably ColorNote.

you can use your Gmail account. There are built-in software related to it.
