Motorola is reviving a much loved, once very popular brand with our favourite OS on board – The Motorola RAZR (AKA Droid RAZR in the USA). And they’re bringing it to South Africa!!!! Soon! (One hopes)
We received the following invite a few days ago:
At first, judging by the picture, I presumed that it was possibly a device aimed at the fairer sex, but upon seeing the internet light up not long after with fairly legit rumours, and then the announcement of said device last night (in New York City, a few hours before the Galaxy Nexus), I figured that I had presumed wrong
And then we got confirmation today that the event would indeed shed more light on local availability of the RAZR in SA. And boy am I glad!
It looks like Motorola is bringing a fine device over to SA, and even better, right on on the heels of a US launch, which is fantastic stuff. Let’s hope that this trend is followed more in the future, not only by Motorola, but by other manufacturers as well.
